Department of Digital Industrial Design
Department of Broadcasting Hairdressing and Beauty Arts aims to foster total beauty specialists
and education leaders in the field of broadcasting hair beauty arts who may lead the beauty
industries of professional salon hair designers, wedding hair and nail artists, aesthetic customized
cosmetics prescription coordinators, and medical beauty managers as well as the broadcasting
hair styling for influencers, entertainers, and performers. It operates customized industry-ordered
tracks of Juno hair course and Lee Chul Hair Kerker as they have been selected for the Ministry of
Education 4th Industrial Revolution Link+ Project (hair track).
Department of Jewelry Design
Induk University's Department of Jewelry Design, boastful of its long history and tradition, was founded as craft design department in 1977 and was reborn into jewelry design department in 2008 after introducing specialized jewelry design education courses for the first time in Korea in 1991. It provides education courses customized to the requirements of businesses. In 2009, it introduced the first bachelordegree course among the jewelry design departments of all junior colleges in Korea. It is designed to foster talents equipped with smarttechnology based knowledge and know-how in phase with the requirements of of the times as well as creative design, who can continue research at graduate schools or has an outstanding ability to adapt to the field work.
Department of Visual CommunicationDesign
Department of Visual Communication Design is designed to foster talents who will lead the design
environment by providing convergent-type education courses based on practice-oriented education
methods, future-oriented knowledge and information, to train specialists who can enhance the value of
design industry. The department provides a foundation for growing into a sustainable specialist
'designer-like designer' full of talent by intensively educating on graphic design, editorial design, ad design,
design project management, multi-media design, UI and UX design areas with education courses of tracks
for competencies required for employment or start-up.
Department of Game &
VR Contents Design
Department of Game & VR Contents Design is a department founded for the first time in Korea in 2018 for
teaching advanced 3D digital design technique with the objective of fostering advanced graphic designers
who create VR, AR technologies, 3D games and animation, metaburse, and special video contents,
which are the growth engine in the era of metaburse.
Department of Multimedia Design
The education purpose is to foster talents who are diligent and sincere and can contribute to the
community and the nation with globalized creative service and cooperation ability by training specialized
skills through academic development.
Department of Living Ceramic Design
Department of Living Ceramic Design provides inclusive design education focusing on field-oriented
projects as a department leading S·T·A·R-type youth startup for contributing to living culture and design
industry by comprising its teaching staff with best experts in ceramic and design areas since its inception
in 1977. It aims to foster creative practice-oriented living ceramic designers who can lead the living culture
essential to the future through convergence of life, ceramic craft and service design based on such
education.
