Department of Broadcasting &
Visual Media

This department trains the students to be equipped with skills ranging from planning to broadcast video
contents to all areas related to production and post-production. The education objective of Department of
Broadcasting & Visual Media is to foster professional talents for production of broadcasting and video
contents who are equipped with both creativity and expertise to lead the Korean style contents in the
multi-platform era while responding to changes in the media industry.To that end, it pursues happy
education inducing creativity, education specialized in practical production of broadcasting and
video contents, and project-focused education through industry-academia united interdisciplinary
collaboration and convergence with the core value of fun, smart and collaboration.
Having led the media convergence education, the department operates video production courses
specialized in contents with such education tracks as those of broadcasting video, video-commerce video
clips and creative contents based on its education achievements accumulated so far, UHD studio, and
infrastructure for production of video contents. Through the three tracks of education courses enabling
happy production of creative contents, it fosters professional talents equipped with on-hand skills for
1-person media and broadcasting engineering as well as planning, direction, filming, lighting, editing,
motion graphic, and sound effect design.

Department of Broadcasting & Entertainment

Department of Broadcasting & Entertainment fosters professional experts who will lead the globalization of
Korean-style culture industries, including those for broadcasting media, performance of performing
industry, musical, K-POP, production, and planning. It fosters creative leaders of the culture and art society
and entertainers equipped with artistic soul by cultivating talents and special gifts of individuals.
Broadcasting and Entertainment Department, which has been selected as a department that will lead the
future culture and art industries and the development of human resources implements tracks for
segmented major subjects in accordance with the directed points of education innovation.
Thus, the freshman students extensively study basic major knowledge concerning the culture and arts in
general. The sophomore students are provided the following programs by which they can have education
on diverse subjects equipment with specialties.

Department of Comic Art

Industrial cartoons, core industry of K-contents, lead the popular cultural contents in the metaburse era
beyond the realm of the traditional culture. To foster convergent-type talents in the areas of webtoon,
noble comics and contents creation, it has deployed industry-academia united systems for Creative,
Professional, and Collaborative on-site education. The department aims to develop talents specialized in
practical skills through the segmented education courses for majors of webtoon authors who will lead the
future webtoon industry, students who study subjects related to studio work for employment, and those
who major in convergent web contents for producing secondary contents.

Department of Broadcasting Makeup

It also fosters sensitive and passionate 'professional artists' who are able to perform total styling for
makeup, costume, nail, props, etc. while planning images suitable to the roles and concepts of celebrities
and entertainers appearing in broadcast media (drama, show, entertaining amusement, music, reporting
and educational programs, home shopping). It provides scrupulous lessons and counseling guidance
linked to practical subjects to train professionals who can work at sites of broadcasting, film, performance,
specialized production, fashion stores, beauty salons, and nail shops with systematic education courses
customized to the fields. It also provides educational opportunities for acquiring specialist certificates,
cooperating and communicating with others through various open contests, competition, study, and
community activities. The students may select and complete subjects suitable to their career path or
employment fields among those related to makeup specialists and stylists.

Hairdressing and Beauty Arts

Department of Broadcasting Hairdressing and Beauty Arts aims to foster total beauty specialists and
education leaders in the field of broadcasting hair beauty arts who may lead the beauty industries of
professional salon hair designers, wedding hair and nail artists, aesthetic customized cosmetics
prescription coordinators, and medical beauty managers as well as the broadcasting hair styling for
influencers, entertainers, and performers. It operates customized industry-ordered tracks of
Juno hair course and Lee Chul Hair Kerker as they have been selected for the Ministry of Education
4th Industrial Revolution Link+ Project (hair track).
