School bird

Eagle (Scientific name : Aegypius Monachus)

An eagle belongs to a species of birds that inhabit in a dense wood or rock cliff close to rumbling sea waves. Their wings appear to be large
enough to cover up the sky. They have smart eyes looking at remote objects in a penetrating sight and sharp beaks and an agile body.
They have the valor and dignity like the prince of the feathered family dominating the sky.

The eagle has been designated as the school's symbol bird, implies that we, the Induk constituents, should have eyes of good sense and
wisdom looking far into the future while leading a victorious life in learning knowledge and developing personality with courage and tenacity,
getting not tired with a long dash just like an eagle flying high in the sky with renewed strength.

When the eagles train their young ones, they repeatedly carry them on their back high into the sky to drop them up there to force them to fly
for themselves until the young eagles gain enough strength. We believe the Lord lets us achieve the final victory by embracing us in his wide arms till
the last moment when he comes, while preventing our frustration and giving us new strength by holding us whenever we fall in our life.

Silver magnolia (Scientific name : Magnolia Obovata)

The silver magnolia’s stem grows straight upright. Its wide oval leaves constitute cool green shades.
When May comes, it blooms alone distinguished from the other flowers and its most coveted flower (magnolia 1.5) is dignified and abundant,
Its far-reaching fragrance is beloved by everyone. When it grows up, it is used as valuable timber. The printing woodblocks of the Tripitaka
Koreana and Buddhist scriptures which have been preserved for over 700 years are also made of silver magnolia.

This silver magnolia has been nominated as the school's symbol tree with the hope that the stalwart Induk students will be educated to be highly
wise and virtuous talents who provide highly refreshing comfortable shades to the neighbors just like a giant tree. We hope the students will
develop a loft courage, simple but generous character, and will serve others with the Christian love and service fragrance, just like the school tree.
